Planning
Ergo Glass
Ergo Glass is a detachable module for ordinary glasses: local lifelogging hardware with clear opt-in controls, still in the planning stage.
In planning. The stack below is an early design target, not a finished product claim.
Concept
Instead of a dedicated smart-glasses frame, this is a module you can move between glasses you already own. With approval, it can capture useful context, keep as much processing local as possible, and always give you a physical way to stop sensing.
Hardware stack
Compute
ESP32-S3, ESP-IDF, aggressive idle and frequency scaling.
Vision
OV5640 with hardware standby; motion before heavier processing.
Power
BQ24040 charging, TPS62840 regulation, switched camera rails.
Storage / audio
microSD and MEMS mic for ambient capture.
Link
BLE for control; larger transfers on demand.
